The Vogl Family

My family and I are excited at the prospect of adding a new chapter to our story, especially relocating to the beautiful Albany metro area where my parents were born and raised. Nicole and I have been married for 22 years and we have three children -- Logan, Charlotte and Caden. As a family, we enjoy spending time together, doing puzzles, playing Uno and other board games, going for walks and of course Scouting activities. 

Nicole is a past special education paraprofessional and is looking to return to the field. She is the chief activity planner for our family and makes sure we all have great experiences together. She volunteers as Den Leader for the AOL den and assists in Troop 166. Nicole enjoys sharing her incredible vocal talents with the Eastman Community Choir in the City of Rochester. 

Logan is entering his junior year at Pal-Mac High School. He is a Life Scout and Senior Patrol Leader in Macedon Troop 166. He has been a Scout since he was started as a Tiger Cub in spring 2013. Logan enjoys writing books, playing video games and looking up facts about Star Wars. He has acted in multiple school plays and was recently recognized at an area-wide ceremony as Runner-up Best Lead Male Supporting Actor for his role in "The One Act Play That Goes Wrong." He also sings in the Pal-Mac Select Choir. This past summer, Logan and I hiked 60+ miles in the Philmont backcountry with my Scoutmaster and his Vermont contingent. 

Charlotte is entering fifth grade where her favorite subject is math. She was among the first girls to join Cub Scouts as a Lion, and is currently an AOL Scout in Pack 67 in Victor. She enjoys dancing, Barbie and bike riding. Charlotte challenged herself to learn and perform a solo-dance at the Smith Opera House. 

Caden is going into third grade and he loves school. He is a Bear in Cub Scout Pack 67 and loves going to Cub Scout camp in the summer. Caden also loves watching Youtube videos, playing Legos (who doesn't?), dinosaurs and reading. He's a bright young boy who enters the world running head first.
